Meet Our Staff!

Susan Keserich, Director of Bands

Jason Raffle, Drumline Instructor

Mrs. Keserich is going into her fourth year on the Green Team!  A graduate of Pleasant Local Schools in Marion, Ohio, Mrs. Keserich has roots in a small rural community.  After graduating from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, she relocated to Northeast Ohio and was the Assistant Director of Bands at Barberton High School for 6 years.  She completed a Master of Music degree from Cleveland State University in 2012 and promptly returned to Barberton to become the Director of Bands for Barberton Middle School.  As an oboe/English horn player, Mrs. Keserich has played with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra, Warren Philharmonic, Mansfield Symphony, Cleveland Winds, Cleveland Philharmonic, Chagrin Valley Theater, and Strongsville Community Band.  Mrs. Keserich is the Assistant Director of Music for St. Joseph Parish in Strongsville and enjoys outdoor activities with her husband and 2 children.  Retiring her purple for green, Mrs. Keserich is excited to continue a new adventure with the wonderful students of Green Local.
Jason Raffle attended the University of Toledo from 1997-2000 where he marched snare drum for the Rocket Marching Band.  Other ensembles included Afro-Caribbean, Jazz, Symphonic, and Pep Bands, and Percussion Ensemble.  Jason got his start teaching in NW Ohio and SE Michigan.  He currently works full time as a private instructor at Wadsworth Music as well as the Percussion instructor at Chippewa, Norwayne, and Smithville Bands.  When Jason isn't with his students, he is entertaining crowds with local Tribute/Cover Bands or performing live with up and coming Nashville artists.
